Users must ensure that access to Shared Content is granted only to authorized individuals who have a legitimate need to access it. This includes:

  • Using unique and strong passwords.
  • Regularly updating access permissions to reflect current needs.

1.3 Secure Sharing Practices

When sharing Shared Content through GenAlyti(Q)s, Users must:

  • Verify the identity of the intended recipient.
  • Use GenAlyti(Q)s’ secure sharing features and avoid unapproved methods (e.g., external emails or third-party tools).

1.4 Prohibited Actions

Users shall not:

  • Use Shared Content to infringe on the privacy rights or intellectual property of others.
  • Export or distribute Shared Content in violation of any applicable laws or the sharing party’s policies.
  • Engage in activities that could compromise the security of Shared Content, such as sharing passwords or leaving devices unattended.

2. GenAlyti(Q)s Responsibilities

2.1 Data Security

GenAlyti(Q)s employs industry-standard security measures, including encryption and access control, to protect Shared Content.

2.2 Compliance with Regional Laws

GenAlyti(Q)s complies with relevant data protection laws, including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, the US Data Privacy Laws, and applicable regulations across Asia.

2.3 Breach Notifications

In the event of a data breach affecting Shared Content, GenAlyti(Q)s will promptly notify affected Users and provide guidance on mitigating potential risks.

3. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

3.1 Applicable Laws

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to data privacy, sharing, and security in their jurisdiction, including but not limited to:

  • GDPR (EU)
  • CCPA (California, USA)
  • UK Data Protection Act
  • PDPA (Singapore) and other relevant regulations in Asia.

3.2 Cross-Border Data Sharing

When sharing Shared Content across borders, Users agree to ensure compliance with applicable data transfer laws and standards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) where necessary.

4. Data Ownership and Responsibility

4.1 Ownership

The party sharing the data retains ownership of the Shared Content and is responsible for ensuring that it is shared lawfully.

4.2 Responsibility for Accuracy

Users sharing dashboards or data must ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Shared Content before sharing.

5. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this Policy may result in:

  • Suspension or termination of access to GenAlyti(Q)s services.
  • Legal actions or penalties as applicable under relevant laws.

6. Amendments to the Policy

GenAlyti(Q)s reserves the right to amend this Policy to reflect changes in laws, technology, or operational requirements. Users will be notified of significant updates and may be required to review and accept the revised Policy to continue using the services.

7. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By sharing or accessing Shared Content through GenAlyti(Q)s, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Policy.
